작가는 이번 전시에서 10명의 퍼포머로 구성된 네 가지의 퍼포먼스를 선보이는데 세 개의 방에서 한 무리 또는 개인에 의해 각각의 퍼포먼스가 동시 다발적으로 시작된다. 따라서 갤러리 공간에 들어선 관람객의 선택, 계단을 내려갈 것인지, 올라갈 것인지, 그 자리에 머물러 바라볼 것 인지에 따라 처음 마주하는 움직임은 달라진다. 그리고 움직임을 표현하는 이와 이를 바라보는 이의 사이에서는 무언의 대화가 이루어진다. 몸의 움직임이 만들어 내는 언어는 감정을 전달한다고 하기보다는 일종의 추상적인 신호에 가깝게 보여진다. 한 시간 동안 반복되는 퍼포먼스는 연속적으로 보이나 움직임이 순환할 때마다 생기는 호흡의 차이로 인해 매번 새롭다. 새로운 시점들이 예측하지 못한 상황들로부터 끊임 없이 생성된다. 퍼포머들이 사라진 공간에 남겨진 소리와 사건의 흔적들은 마치 정체하고 있는 것처럼 보이나 그 전의 과정을 상상할 수 있는 장치가 된다. 하얀 모래 위에 남은 손 자국들, 진흙이 남긴 흔적들, 양동이 속 흙탕물, 엷은 발자국들은 직접적인 움직임을 마주했을 때와 달리 움 직임을 유추하고 생각을 다른 생각에 연결 짓도록 유도한다.

In Falling Eggs, Eunji Cho presents four performances. They begin simultaneously from three separate rooms, running continuously and repeatedly by 10 performers for one hour in circular form. The initial movements faced by each audience member differs, since it is determined by when, where and how he or she enters and moves through the gallery. A wordless conversation occurs between those who express movements and those who observe. Body language appears as abstract signals, more so than a medium in which to deliver, convey or express emotions. Through these variances, new perspectives arise. When a performance ends, hand marks on white sand, traces of mud, muddy water in buckets, and faint footprints - the remaining sounds and traces - become instruments invoking the imagination of previous events.
